Our Story

We believe that everyone deserves the freedom and comfort of independent bathroom use. For far too long, people with limited mobility have only been given options that are “good enough”—we’re changing that!

Our founder, Nancy, created Unique Wipe because she herself needed a personal wiping aid that was discreet and affordable. When she was recovering from a bad motorcycle accident, during which she’d broken two of her ribs, she found herself stuck on the toilet, unable to reach behind herself to wipe effectively and without pain. When she asked around, she learned that lots of people with injuries, disabilities, limb differences, and digestive disorders were living limited lives too.

With all the glory from God, she fashioned a wiping aid using items she had in her own bathroom, perfected her design & technique, and regained her sense of dignity and independence.
